Why Your Kitchen Drawers Are Wasting Space
Your kitchen is full of deep drawers, but only the top layer ever gets used. There are small items that sink to the bottom and get forgotten. Drawers near the range or sink could hold twice as much if the vertical space were used. The issue isn’t the amount of space. The problem is the standard single-tier drawer, not the homeowner’s habits.
Art of Drawers is the ideal specialist to fit a purpose-built kitchen inner drawer inside any existing drawers. Art of Drawers will install a perfectly designed kitchen drawer system that makes accessing your items easier.
What is a Drawer in a Drawer?
A smaller, shallower drawer sits nestled inside an existing kitchen drawer, opening independently to reveal a hidden second tier of storage. Hidden drawers in drawers are used to store small utensils, spice jars, gadgets, or anything that would otherwise sink to the bottom.
A hidden drawer in a drawer build is fitted to the exact clearance of the homeowner’s existing kitchen storage system so nothing binds or rubs against the drawer above.
Custom Kitchen Drawer Systems Built for Your Cabinet
Art of Drawers builds custom kitchen drawer systems by measuring the exact depth, width, and available clearance of the existing drawer, then fitting a nested drawer that opens smoothly on its own glide. Typically, deeper base drawers work best in kitchens instead of shallow upper ones.
Every kitchen drawer system we create is custom to your home and design preferences. We won’t install a generic tiered kitchen drawer organizer bought off the shelf. Each system we install is completed with the ideal finish and soft-close hardware options to match your aesthetic.
